Sorry, Just a Little

I took a break. A coffee break! Just kidding. I lost motivation, not that I am really aware of my original motivation to being with. I was a tiny bit busy and one of my cats died. I always meant to start a blog about my cats. I did mugs instead, which is okay. This photo is a mug that I received for an anniversary gift from my then boyfriend (now fiance). It's a Dalek from Doctor Who, and yes, it looks a bit like an old fashioned iron or something.

New Year, New Posts... I Hope

    Hello! I do not think there is anyone out there to read this, and I'm not sure I am going to link people to my blog anymore. There is no specific reason to not link them, but a little of it is because they're like, "oh, have you posted to your blog recently?" I would be like, "yeah... I sent you a link." Then they would be like, "oh, I've been meaning to look." Thanks friends! You're all guilty of it, good thing I'm a forgiving kind of person. It's not like I haven't been offended but if you were to put me on the spot, it would take me a good little while to give you an example of when you have actually upset me; once I tell you what made me mad, it would probably be followed by, "it's okay though."
    Anyways... I will share a couple of mugs I got for Christmas! One of them I had seen online and fell in love. The other one is just a thoughtful mug from a family member.

This is the one that I had already fallen in love with. Don't let the edit fool you, it is just a plain black mug, with bat wings. I was super excited when I received this!

 This is the thoughtful mug from my sister... The only thing is, it makes me want more cats! 

Home is Where You Live... Sometimes.

    When people mumble the cliche, "home is where the heart is." I believe it to be true. You can be in a shelter that you hate, but when you're with someone you love, you cannot help but call it home. In all honesty, it is something where you really have to weigh your values. Is love worth not looking forward going home at night? You can completely love the person but dread the shelter you share. I believe you should be able to communicate with the person you love so much, in order to create the best environment for both of you. Love is grand, but things like shelter, money, and bad habits can make you miserable in the end and taint your love. I am not here to tell you what to do, but don't expect me to lie, and say that it's fine.

    This is a mug that I gave to someone. She hates her "tin can" but it is her home, for now.

      This is a mug I gave to someone as a gift. This is still a mug shot taken by me. I see him often enough, and I am in love with this mug. I found it online while I was looking at psychology related games. That is one good thing about websites spying on you, they sell you what you want! Maybe it isn't good, but when something happens that is hard to help, all that's left is the Brightside. The psychologist is Freud, in case you don't understand why it's funny, here you go.

Pretend it's a Beach

      This week, I received two new mugs! This is amazing because I know the people are supporting my new hobby... of taking pictures... of mugs. Both of the mugs I received had a lot of thought put into them. So far, I have only photographed one of the mugs, so that is what this post is about.
      This mug came as a huge surprise. I am not sure if it was on my wish list or not, but it is perfect. I love animals and oddly shaped mugs so this is a dream.

      I am very late on my mug shots this week... but I will get it up soon! So, for now, here are the mugs that I am interested in owning in the future. I am not asking you to buy me anything, but if you know where I can get it for maybe cheaper than what is on my list, that would be wicked! Also, if you do feel like buying it for me, I won't decline!

3 Cats and a Mug

      For the first time ever, I could not pick my favorite shot! So, today I give you 2 Mug Shots, of the same mug. The title was requested by my father because it is his mug. I feel bad I could not get all 3 of our cats in the shots; the youngest is a bit too spunky to stay still.
      This mug was given to my father this last Christmas as a little bit of a joke. He had been requesting a mug that says, "Best Grandpa" or something within the likes. I have yet to produce any grandchildren for him, but every once in a while we end up with a new cat. I thought this was appropriate coming from me. For the longest time he seemed like he didn't approve of the cats too much but one of them grew to like him so he could not help but give the affection right back. Today his favorite cat is one of the black ones named Edgar, which we call Eddie but my father refuses to call him anything but "Freddie," which is fine because I am sick of correcting him.
