3 Cats and a Mug

For the first time ever, I could not pick my favorite shot! So, today I give you 2 Mug Shots, of the same mug. The title was requested by my father because it is his mug. I feel bad I could not get all 3 of our cats in the shots; the youngest is a bit too spunky to stay still.
This mug was given to my father this last Christmas as a little bit of a joke. He had been requesting a mug that says, "Best Grandpa" or something within the likes. I have yet to produce any grandchildren for him, but every once in a while we end up with a new cat. I thought this was appropriate coming from me. For the longest time he seemed like he didn't approve of the cats too much but one of them grew to like him so he could not help but give the affection right back. Today his favorite cat is one of the black ones named Edgar, which we call Eddie but my father refuses to call him anything but "Freddie," which is fine because I am sick of correcting him.

Spidey Spills

This week, I took too long to take my mug shot. Normally I utilize the wonders of naturally perfect lighting, but I waited until the sun was long gone before I took this shot. I regret it quite a bit. Anyways, here is my Spider-Man mug! I love it. I cannot remember if I received this as a gift from myself or someone else, either way, I am happy it is mine. Today it is a bit stormy and so I am craving some tea. I think I will have some tea.

Short Changed

I feel really disappointed in myself for skipping a week or two. The first week, I just forgot; the second week, I had lost my camera! Maybe it's only been one week behind. I am far too lazy to figure it out exactly.
I was not ever short-changed or however you say it, but the level of change I have in this mug is... clearly short. I, for some reason always wanted a clear mug and teacup, I think it always reminded me of the dishes used in Star Trek TNG. One day, I was perusing the dishes at the thrift store, and they had a whole section of clear dishware! I could not say no to this mug, but for some stupid reason, I had a hard time accepting "clean" when I did try to wash it. There are some hard-water stains on this mug, which is not very attractive but I do not mind, as I am using this mug for spare coins now. I could have done a better job with this photograph, I like it anyways.
