Always Drink Milk

This is definitely not my mug, nor will I ever use this mug. I believe this to be a vintage mug, and I am assuming from my Father's side of the family. Please, feel free to correct me if you know otherwise. My little sister tried to throw it away while we were cleaning the other week, I told her not to, in worry that it is an antique with some sentimental value. It will stick around for quite a bit longer, but it will not be used. It's neat that it's something pretty old, but it looks yucky on the inside... and it is a bit creepy looking on the outside. I like it.

Online Dating

This is not my mug, but it is my mug shot. I was using this mug all week, I wish I could tell you why. I don't even know. Come to find out at the end of the week that it is in fact, my little sister's mug, from her internet/real life boyfriend. I thought it would be a perfect mug shot for the week because I knew what was happening today... she was getting engaged!

The title of this post is "Online Dating" because that is where it started. From the beginning I did not really judge her at all. I have built online relationships in the past myself, unfortunately I never went as far as meeting up with them. I say unfortunately because they were from England, and it would have been wicked. They weren't even really romantic relationships, just awesome friendships (at least I thought they were). Any way... They did not really meet on a dating website or anything, just through a game, which is fine, as long as they can leave the game and live a nice life together!

People can't really judge how other people meet or fall in love. We can't even judge how fast they decide to move! From kissing, to engagements and weddings, and even creating adorable babies! Everyone is different and as long as they are in tune with themselves, things will work out for the better, no matter the circumstance and speed.

Neglected

When I first saw this mug, I could not say 'no'. I didn't care how much it cost, although I'm sure the markup was horrendous, I bought it on site. When I took it home I immediately was a little worried. You see, it would be very difficult to clean on the underside of the octopus, which worried me a little bit about sanitation. After deciding I wouldn't ever know how truly clean the mug is, I made the choice not to really use it.
At the beginning of the week, I ran out of clean mugs. I am very lazy when it comes to the easy stuff, like washing a mug, so I used the octomug.  I forgot about the coffee that was in it, probably because I didn't really need it, and my sister was making it weak in flavor. After about a day of neglecting the coffee, in a hot room, the liquid started to evaporate. After three days it was almost gone but left a beautiful stain in the mug. Today, the mug was cleaned but this one might end up in the garbage. I'll think about it.

The Doctor... and Strawberries

This week I was still not much in the mood for coffee. I found myself sipping on water and sifting through my little strawberry plant. It was too late for quite a few strawberries, luckily I found two completely perfect but small strawberries. After I was done with the water in my mug, I used it to haul the perfect berries until I decided to take a quick shot of them before I devoured them deliciously.
I love this mug completely. It is one of my favorite pieces of art from Doctor Who. It is supposed to be done by Vincent Van Gogh sometime in his last year before killing himself. It served as warning to the Doctor about the TARDIS fatally exploding. Spoiler: It works out and they have another Doctor Who thing to smack on merchandise, and sell to suckers for the show (me definitely included).

Something Clever

I feel really proud of the title for my first post, so of course with the second, I could not come up with anything better. Lately I have not really been in the mood for coffee so I was using this mug for water. I love the floral design on the outside with a basic bright green on the inside. It kind of reminds me of some people I've observed over my lifetime. On the outside it is all show but on the inside it is a lot more simple than they would want you to perceive. It is just green on the inside, yet, it is more surprising than white and compliments the design on the outside. People should not try to hide what's on the inside, there's a good chance it will make what is on the outside look even better.
